CJ7 arrived on the campost @ 06:17 and pottered (just stood still, mainly) for over 20 minutes - she's been back for shorter periods 2-3 times since, with the crows taking an interest.
One has spent fruitless minutes listening for her feet and been on a hiding to nothing - I mean, there are other nests to care for

Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Likewise my old friend!
I have been 'lurking' at work watching the chat threads and reading up on the history of each one and this in particular captured my imagination. Having time to post on the Bank Holiday just thought I would voice my support for this amazing project. The sense of anticipation the team must feel takes me back to my 'old days; at LG. Their website oozes commitment for the project and their preparation for the season is totally professional. The live webcam is now in my bookmarks.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

I am amazing thanks. Extremely relieved and overjoyed to get the today's negative reults from my yearly MRI scan which I feel has breathed a new lease of life into me. Very pleased to be back amongst old friends and stalwarts of the chat threads whose enthusiasm for all things Opsrey thankfully never wanes. Hope you are also well.
