UV's ring is fitted upside down, Richard, it is him. I'll refer to the 'upside down' aspect in a blog post when I receive photos, which will hopefully be later today.
Fantastic to see UV today from Coombe Heath at Arne! Thanks to others with much better photos than me, the ring could be seen and read (after a bit of confusion because of the upside-down/back-to-front aspect). Looking forward to reading jaydee's blog later.
Edited to say we had been watching a White-Tailed Eagle before that, so it was an incredible morning.
