Hi everyone: Have a nice Sunday. Don't forget to catch up on last few entries of previous week - AQ is havng a hard time sleeping coz of the heat!!
Daughter here for the night; catch up tomorrow. :-)
Good morning auntie sorry you are having to work so hard. I agree about feeling more tired in winter when it is cold and so few daylight hours. I really have to push myself to do anything. At least the countdown clock to EJ's return is marching on. Hope the weather is better for her when she does return. Can't forget last year and all that snow. Hope you manage to have a break from work soon and catch up with yourself. Take care.

OG : Current temp is +3.2c and rising so maybe I will wear my shorts to walk Hamish later . LOL
Hi AQ so pleased you did not suffer any damage but feel so sorry for those that did. What is wrong with the weather nowadays. I have never known it so cold for so long. Here in the South it is usually warmer but not this year so far. Had about 5 inches of snow last week, which thankfully has gone but because it rained on freezing roads there was a lot of black ice to contend with. Hope summer will arrive for you soon.
Hello Annette pleased to hear your landscaping is going well. Smiled when you talked about Lightning is happy with all the piles of dirt to investigate. Typical a white cat who loves to get dirty.
Keep them coming original goldfinch another wonderful photo.
Good afternoon SheilaFE I have to agree with out about the Men's Singles result. Really don't like DJokovic, always has an excuse when he does not play very well.
original goldfinch I have noticed the birds are not so renetic today. Haven't had to top the feeders up again yet. Love the bluetit photo.
Alan will be thinking of Hamish tomorrow, hope all goes well. I know you will let us know how he gets on.
Morning all. We're getting a does of UK cold at the moment. Brrrrrr. Hope it's getting a little easier for those in the UK
Annette, great name, thanks. I've passed it on. That car did well! Good luck with the landscaping. Glad Lightning is in her element!
AQ, LOL at being born with the necklaces:) Glad you got a little rain but so sorry for those hit bad by it.
Auntie, that's a lot of snow and not much daylight:( take it easy.
Linda, I've not been on much recently, so how is Tomasz doing.
Dibnlib, glad the leg seems to be doing OK. Won't be long before the plaster comes off. Sorry about the cold:(
Brenda, will keep you posted on the names. Hope you don't have to do too much housework!
Joan, hope the thaw gets a grip! thanks for the lovely picture. They look like they're enjoying the sun
Alan, that weather sounds balmy!
OG, enjoy the "warm" weather. Thanks about the road signs. Glad it's not only me! Beautiful picture as always:)

Alan not a good idea, although my postman has worn shorts all through this cold spell.
Went along to Whitley Bay this morning ... the temp reached the heady heights of +3.5C, and the steady dripping outside shows the thaw is underway .... HURRAY!
It was strange to see the Links and dunes covered in snow ... and even stranger to see curlew poking around in the snow-covered grass! I saw a huge flock of geese in one of the fields beside the beach on the way home ... I've never seen them in those fields before. I suppose it must be a little easier to feed closer to the sea.
OG - lovely blue tit photo
