Evening/Morning all: Off to check out recent posts.
Hi all! Grey day here temp about 4C, slightly raining…well not totally water, there seems to be some sleet too, blaah absolutely dreary outside but this is November, eh.
Diane, if your dad really, really hates youghourt maybe you could get some lactic acid capsules? ‘Cause you are absolutely right about that antibiotics do destroy also the good bacteria causing stomach problems to some people.
Dibnlib, how on earth you can be so active with your cast, what a breave girl you are. I hope that ankle doesn’t ache too much.
Lynette, very nice of your OH to comment cricket for the blind, absolutely great
OG, beautiful sunset picture and my mouth started to water when reading ‘bout hot choc and shortbread, definitely would be a appropiate treat in this weather
Lindy, must consider to buy that book by David Gessner. I really love reading both fact and fiction. Have read since age of 5 and I am so grateful to my parents who introduced me to literature early on. Re ‘manipulating dogs’ I think they truly are masters making everybody belive they haven’t eaten since last month when they want a treat LOL
AQ, what a lovely couple the bride and groom make. Love your outfit too and very beautiful hairdo you had. Thanks for the ‘wedding report’ and pictures, such a beautiful surroundings. I had to skip the menu-part, I would probably dash straight to kitchen reading it and I must try to watch my ‘intakes’ having gained a little (typical for me this time of year)…
Wendyb, loved that ‘panda eyes’ suggestion LOL
DjoanS : ”
BrendaH, glad your son is enjoying his time in OZ

Have a nice day all and stay warm, err… of course in AQ’s case stay cool!

Good morning OG! Glad you are having some sunshine. Been meaning to tell you that when I look who is 'on line' and under your name stands D&G, I always have a mental picture of you wearing Dolce & Gabbana ;)
CHLOE sorry, but still clueless, signed up for photobucket account but do not know where to find it now to transfer any image... Also not sure about the cutting/pasting bit. Must try and get help from OH when he he has a minute to spare. Told you I am a dinosaur
dibnlib Help has arrived.
How about right clicking this image and a menu will come up which says copy. Clip copy and this will save the image to your clipboard. Then go to where you want to post and right click at the spot. A menu will come up which says "paste". Click paste and the image goes in the post.

Morning all,
LizLFW : You are correct about the program. I did not realise it had already been shown in Scotland.
BrendaH : Sorry you had a bad night. I am still waking up early since the clocks changed.
Another frosty morning but nice and sunny. I prefer this to the dreich rainy weather. We had 3 birds in the garden this morning for the first time this autumn/winter. All within a few minutes we had a robin, a wren and a male blackbird. Also lots of starlings but no sign of our regular goldfinches today. I had to go up into the loft this morning as son in law has decided to go to Centre Parcs this weekend and needs a large suitcase which was in the loft. While I was up there I brought down all the Christmas lights and decorations so that saves doing it later on.I think we are going on a shopping mission to Tesco this morning
Everyone else thanks for the chat and have a good tuesday.
LIZ LFW Just bought a beanie hat this time. We had a £10 voucher to use off a Berhaus purchase before end of Nov so it only me £5. Mind you we bought 2 new pairs of waterproof trousers to get the voucher
BRENDA think you will wait a while for an animation. at the mo I am doubting if I will ever get there
Morning all ... a beautiful day here too, but again very cold. I've decided I need windscreen wipers on the outside of the conservatory windows ... all condensation first thing these days, and I can't see the birds properly :-)) I was watching a blackbird on the trees at the front earlier ... he was performing acrobatics trying to get the last few rowan berries.
Linda - sounds like a nice morning you have planned ... almost no leaves on our trees now after last weeks storms.
Brenda H - oh dear ... a bad night ... I'm not sure any night could be bad enough for me to resort to the ironing!!
Alan - I am looking forward to seeing that Scotland programme ... we recorded it to watch at our leisure!
Must go and do something useful now ... like housework :-(
Thanks to everyone I haven't mentioned by name, for chat, links etc.
Take care.
Joan - avid bird and nature watcher in Northumberland!
