Thank you, SunnyKate - that's restored my belief in the kindness of strangers.

Well it is nearly half way through November and we still haven't see snow on our local Munro. We usually see it snow topped before the end of October.

Yes, its been really mild everywhere hasn't it. My OH said this morning that if we keep on like this we might get an announcement at the end of the month that its been the mildest November for years.

We've had bright sunshine, and my OH came back from the allotment smelling of November -- he'd had a bonfire. It's our way of "shredding" documents, since our shredder died on us. I rip papers into halves and quarters and we store them in the garage until there's enough for a small blaze in an old tin box.

Quick look in to say all okay here - and we did sort J's appt in Edinburgh - it is person to person (next Friday). Going to have a lazy evening with OH. Replies over the weekend.
