Daily Update (Empty LG Nest) Friday, 27 August, 2010

Thanks jsb for all your hard work in producing the stats for us.

Heron 77 they are just so cute red squirrels and that is a lovely capture.  I love it when they go in the nut box with bum up in in the air. 

Cirrus haved a wonderful break in Cumbria.  Hope some decent weather finds you.

Evening BrendaH I am doing the same cannot resist having a look at the nest even though our family have left.  A big gap in my day now not trying to rush between the PC and jobs to make sure I have not missed anything.  At least I can pack for my holidays a week tomorrow with no interruptions and catch up with jobs that have need to be done for the past few months.  How silent it is at LG now haven't heard or seen any little visitors to the nest and all we had today was the plink plonk of rain. 

Hi Margo, you couldn't have timed your holiday any better. Just as the osprey season ends.

I made sure this year that I was going to be hear to the very end.  Last year was away in August and missed quite a lot.  When we go to Cornwall we always go in September as it is a bit quieter generally.  Unfortunately next year will be away for 10 days in August as we are going to Italy, but couldn't really change that. 

Going to say goodnight now as OH will be back with the shopping shortly.  Have a good evening.

Brenda just had a last look at the nest and can't believe how dark it is at LG now.
