Hi all,
Its been a mixed day, weatherwise and ospreywise. Comings and goings and fish deliveries from early morning to afternoon/evening. Lots of off and on the nest between at least two of the juves yesterday afternoon. I notice not much action in the evening.
Lets see what today brings. Over to the night shift. See you in the morning.

10.15 and EJ delivers a large headless fish to an empty nest. A chick soon returns squawking, EJ is reluctant to give it up perhaps waiting for the other two to arrive. However, chick snatches it and EJ flies off, leaving chick holding on to the fish quietly looking around. A quick mantle and a squawk, it keeps a wary eye on all around. More mantling, and more squawking, more looking around. Clearly there is another bird around. The chick has not yet started eating. Morning all, by the way.

Oh! My lovely EJ has just brought a fish to an empty nest. Not for long, #3 (?) arrives and rather more politely takes the offering and mantles over it. Looking around now, either showing off or making sure no other bird is around to steal it. Can't be too hungry. Has yet to start eating.
Back to the sewing machine!
The mind is like a parachute, it doesn't work if it's not open.
This chick is obviously not hungry as standing on fish, now mantling and screeching, ? intruder
Yes, QW - Youngest has the fish and is not in the least bit interested in sharing it with siblings. It's just seen one such attempt off - the youngster never landed , just took the hint.
Intruder alert ... looks like an intruder tried to land on the nest .... seen off by the screecher clutching the fish .... well done that GEM :-)

Well, I'm not too sure what's going on. It seems to be a case of an "It's my fish, keep off" warning. With the fish firmly held under talons and no attempt to eat it, but with the occasional screech. It looks another rather 'dreich' and breezy day.
I'm not sure any is really hungry. Titch has been joined by another, and I thought I heard a 'chirrup' from the nest camera post, and still no fish has been eaten! Titch has just moved the fish to the near side of the nest and is trying to take off with it. A cross screech because it was too heavy!!
More shrieking and another GEM lands on the nest .... not much eating going on ... can't be very hungry! Seems very windy there ... and I bet it is cold. GEM with the fish tried to take off with the fish ... maybe it is too heavy ... or maybe it is just stuck to its foot and it is trying to get free!!
EDIT - perhaps this is just Titch's frustrated 'fish-stuck-to-foot' dance!
''It looks another rather 'dreich' and breezy day.''
Definitely, Sheila. It's not a clear picture but it's youngest and Middle juve currently on the nest
Thank you for the id Cirrus! I thought it might be Titch, but wasn't sure. It sounds as though Titch has now decided to have a snack.
