GLASLYN OSPREYS - AUGUST 2020 to end of FEBRUARY 2021

  • It's good to read you are on the mend Scylla. 10 out of 10 for effort

  • MC you are incorrigible!! LOL but then some of us know that!!

    Birdies LG DU update.

  • In reply to scylla:

Ah, you do make me laugh, Scylla!

    Kind regards,

    Ann

  • In reply to Gardenbirder:

Irrespective of the state I may have been in, there wasn't a lot to entertain us today.

The Robin is easy enough to pick out but don't miss the Blue Tit bottom right:

Is there any consensus as to who this is?  It's been seen several times:

Egret and swans seen distantly and blurrily.

  • MC. It is a Tawny Owl box set up on private land. There has been a Barn Owl seen about there and the consensus yesterday was that it was probably a Barn Owl. Heather couldn't get any better views and the light was fading fast when 'it' was spotted.

    Birdies LG DU update.

  • Even being told where to look I missed th bluetit

  • In reply to Cirrus:

Thanks for the info on the bird on the box, MIKE - I'd even seen someone mention kestrel last week, so wasn't sure if it had been firmed up.

I could have got the markings clearer, CIRRUS, but it's me tremor!

Not a lot to report up to 12:30 today, I wish we could have stayed a bit longer on these 2 magpies - what was so tempting?
