The three juveniles are thriving under Mrs G and Aran's continued care, proving once again what formidable parents they are. Long may the season continue to be be hassle-free as it nears the time for migration
It's good to read you are on the mend Scylla. 10 out of 10 for effort
Birdies LG DU update.
Kind regards, Ann
Irrespective of the state I may have been in, there wasn't a lot to entertain us today.
The Robin is easy enough to pick out but don't miss the Blue Tit bottom right:
Is there any consensus as to who this is? It's been seen several times:
Egret and swans seen distantly and blurrily.
IMAGICAT
Even being told where to look I missed th bluetit
Thanks for the info on the bird on the box, MIKE - I'd even seen someone mention kestrel last week, so wasn't sure if it had been firmed up.

I could have got the markings clearer, CIRRUS, but it's me tremor!
Not a lot to report up to 12:30 today, I wish we could have stayed a bit longer on these 2 magpies - what was so tempting?
There was a single blurry swan over the bridge.
Scylla, Regarding the Magpies, judging by the behaviour of our Magpies, the tempting food on the feeder was probably fat of some sort--suet blocks, suet pellets or some other fat source. Ours love the fat blocks and pellets and regularly use our feeders, as do the Jackdaws and Crows, and on rare occasion, a Jay or two will take them from the ground although we rarely put food on the ground in an effort not to attract rats. Cirrus, Never mind--I saw the Blue Tit immediately and searched for ages for the oh-so-obvious Robin!
