AQ - hope meeting up with friends went well and that you enjoyed your chinwag.

Talking about children going back to school, in England they start back at the beginning of September and Dau is expecting to go back, allbeit different in the sense of classroom bubbles. I think they start off with a training day to get everyone up to speed. Will just have to wait and see.

Weather down here has been gorgeous today and gardner came and cut the lawns, not expected now for another 3 wks.

Thanks so much, Gardenbirder - very kind of you to point me in the right direction. I will have a go tomorrow as in bed now and it's late.

Evening all: Floor is done - hurray! And we love it. A very busy day however, what with putting things back together (the crew did all the heavy lifting). Tomorrow morning I can loll in bed and not have to leap up and be presentable for workmen.

DIANE: I watched the launch of the Mars Rover, then went back to sleep. A perfect morning for it on the East coast. :-)

Good Morning and congratulations to Annette and her OH on finally getting to the finish line with the new decorating and flooring. It was worth the hassle, I'm sure, if you're pleased with it. Hooray!!

Bright sunshine here and the hottest day this year predicted, but only for today then back to changeable weather again for the whole of UK.

I'm going to potter in the garden with my pruning clippers, and then this afternoon Sue is coming around to sit under a garden umbrella and chat.

This morn we received an invitation to a party for those living this end of our street for 10 Dec 2020, yes a Xmas party. I’m quite sure I don’t have a prior engagement! My brain is out of sorts this afternoon; I keep thinking it is Saturday. More weeding as it is sunny and 20 C. OH went out for a long walk; his third this week but no noticeable change to his blubber.

My mother always used to say: The older you get, the better you get, unless you’re a banana.

I’m at a place in my life when errands are starting to count as going out.

OG - I'm sorry that J is so anxious. It is a most horrible condition to suffer from. I hope that he - and you and EE - will find some peace as he tries to decide how he will move forward.

It appears that even inputting different size ( caps ) changes search result but at least you can get to a near enough date and then still have the faff of going to the end of each week to start the next week etc.. but hope it may help
