.A hasty start to the new month, to get something done in BIRDIE's forced absence and before the possible/probable FIRST OF THE MONTH FREEZE (and I've already got freezing probs here!).
When Birdie is back in she may give me her comprehensive version to insert here :)
Parents and chicks are all doing well, with no real upsets so far.

Agree Birdie is a big miss from the forum, she can see all the posts, but cannot post for now.
We have been in touch and had a catch up, will miss seeing each other at LG this year, we always had such fun when we got together, a bit like two kids in a sweetie shop

Birdies LG DU update.
Thank you for news of BIRDIE - MARY & MIKE :)
For the past 3? days I've had terrible internet problems but I'm hoping they're fixed as of 15 minutes ago
And a few minutes ago Aran delivered a substantial headless FISH !!! !!! !!! And one of the chicks has taken charge of it and is handling it like a pro...almost
This was before the chick got going, it was a live snap so just be grateful you've got something!
I wish Aran had stayed to show us how he dealt with the sorry leftover, but he flew off with it. If he's on the perch, no-one's followed him.
EDIT - Scene on the nest a few minutes later:
Scylla brazenly presents a video by
A repeat of Aran taking the fish skin, this time showing the whole scene:
It's going to get worse:
Aran brought another fish - KC2 claimed it again but later MrsG was able to take it and feed the chicks:
Give us a break, please!
That was up to 23:00, nothing has changed.
