As the season progresses, Laddie (LM12) continues to make occasional visits to the empty webcam nest, defending his area from passing intruders. It is hoped that both he and NC0 have a successful nest in the vicinity of the Loch.

21st July - NC0 made an appearance on the nest, her first visit since 19th April
24th July - NC0, confirmed ring identification during a second visit to the nest

Lol, Mary!
Laddie's past visits have been around the same time, perhaps he's having 'elevenses' breaks!
I'm working from home today so it was great to see him 'live' rather than through scroll back
For logged information: 22:50 Adult Tawny hoots 23:05 Sounded like a Barn Owl screech 23:15 Distant juvenile Tawny calls again tonight and continuing, no appearance on the nest as yet
Here is Laddie totally unedited except for a sharp join in the middle because he was here at the end of one 6-hour clip and the start of the next one. I've made it Unlisted so that no-one will be trapped into a very-little-happening long video ;)

Eek, I'll check later but am not brimming over with alertness... :(
EDIT LATER - Well I checked and heard the Tawnies going on and on and on and on, but didn't find the (probable) barn owl. Then I went listening to Tawnies on YouTube - our 2 are squawking a bit like a female's contact calls but they are probably youngsters, as already proposed
IMAGICAT
Nobody whatsoever found up to 19:00.
Hope you don't prove me careless, SANDRA
Ha ha Scylla!
I did check through scroll back late this afternoon and only found a fly on the lens mid-morning
