As the season progresses, Laddie (LM12) continues to make occasional visits to the empty webcam nest, defending his area from passing intruders. It is hoped that both he and NC0 have a successful nest in the vicinity of the Loch.

21st July - NC0 made an appearance on the nest, her first visit since 19th April

19:10ish An evening visit
12:00 Raven on the nest
12:08 Very loud chipping and is continuing (no nest visit)
12:15 All is quiet
From scroll back
16:05 Two ravens, only one came onto the nest
Lots of digging in the nest
A quick break from working
Then back to it
Spent some time behind the nest
Then up to a branch on the pine tree
Flew away at 16:35
When dear SANDRA gets around to this, she can tell us what time it was
I make it around 11:00 this morning, a very short visit but sound is in sync.
EDIT:
Just thinking - if it's too late for you scroll back far enough (by the time you see this)... don't be downhearted that you missed it - the only reason I found it was because my internet woes have started up again and the relevant clip was only an hour long - hence I glimpsed the big brown and white thing
Thanks Scylla, just found him!
Time, according to my calculations, was 10:55! lol
22:35 I'm hearing 'distorted' juvenile Tawny calls
22:38 Night cam is on, still occasional calling
22:43 Two separate calls and a hoot too. Would be lovely if they visited the nest!
22:46 Definitely sounds like two juvenile Tawny owls food begging
23:08 Calls are more distant now
