As the season progresses, Laddie (LM12) continues to make occasional visits to the empty webcam nest, defending his area from passing intruders. It is hoped that both he and NC0 have a successful nest in the vicinity of the Loch.

Updates:
21st July - NC0 made an appearance on the nest, her first visit since 19th April
24th July - NC0, confirmed ring identification during a second visit to the nest
10th August - Laddie's last appearance on the webcam nest > Here and Video by Scylla
20th August - One chick for Laddie (LM12) and NC0 > successful-first-season-for-loch-of-the-lowes-ospreys
6th September - Probable migration date for Laddie (LM12) and the juvenile was Saturday, 29th August >

I can't remember if we did see 2 in this or not (senility!) - it was around 04:00, maybe SANDRA will find out the time for us

Good morning Scylla and all
Just the one juvenile, I think. I make the time to be just before 3:45
Wonderful videos once again Scylla, thank you so much for all your hard work, you're a star!
9:31 Osprey calling while sat atop the dead tree
©SWT/LotL
There are TWO on the tree. The bird (Osprey?) lower down, slightly to the right, spread its wings
I've just scrolled back. Around 9:00 there appeared to be an Osprey in the dead tree, lower down this time, and it dived into the Loch
Splash down
It went out of view behind the tree branches but then came back round, flapping in the water
It took off
11:41 A large bird flew past the nest
11:46 A bird is still sitting on the top of the tree. As to whether it's an Osprey is anyone's guess! lol
Edit - I checked the view on the YT Channel on my TV, it does appear to be an Osprey
Great spots, SANDRA !!!
I've cobbled together an approximation of what you saw but I can't see well enough to include a second bird or "swimming" - anyway, it's a memento of Laddie (I claim) fishing and taking a fish to NC0 or their offspring
Your big bird will be in my next clip, and in any case there's not much can be added to a fleeting flyby
Super stuff, Scylla, love your zoomed in feature! What you captured was a different dive to the one I saw as the Osprey dived from the lower branches of the tree in my captures. Both dives must have been around the same time. Great to have them on record - many thanks!
13:41 A second bird flew to the one on the tree, twice (trying to dislodge?) I couldn't see where it went afterwards but within moments, the original Osprey, who had stayed put, flew off from the top of the tree, to the right, calling as it did so
