As the season progresses, Laddie (LM12) continues to make occasional visits to the empty webcam nest, defending his area from passing intruders. It is hoped that both he and NC0 have a successful nest in the vicinity of the Loch.

YouTuber M Sanmaelo, who uploads clips from an eastern European White Tailed Eagle cam, has uploaded a nighttime clip of "female Tawny" calling - she seems very expert, she can ID all sorts of voices from unseen critters in the forest.
IMAGICAT
17:09 Pure fluke as I checked the cam! Splash heard, an Osprey flew up and off. The dive must have been close to where the arrow is pointing, out of sight. Very distant calls heard just prior to the dive
Edit - re-watching the event, the Osprey came round up and further right that my arrow suggests

Although they have not said I think from all the sightings we have had of Ospreys on the webcam the nest must be within the Loch Area.

Well I've missed it! I've just gone to check and it looks as tho I've deleted the Lowes files from yesterday (I do remember having a torrid night) and of course the system has emptied Recycle Bin yet again. Let's hope we get another chance before they go
Kind regards, Ann
