As the season progresses, Laddie (LM12) continues to make occasional visits to the empty webcam nest, defending his area from passing intruders. It is hoped that both he and NC0 have a successful nest in the vicinity of the Loch.

First of all - This is the first time I've seen your post, MARY - it looks as tho I'd already opened up RF while I was still trawling and doing the owls etc.
I thought that NC0 was making "contact calls" :)))
Off topic:
I wonder if you are able to send BIRDIE my email address?
IMAGICAT
I forgot to delete yesterday morning's clip with Laddie and NC0 in it and just skimmed thru again and found another stick-jump, and it was this little guy - Oh! sez I, there's all the time in the world, why don't I snap it and spend a few minutes toning down the colour and resizing it and... madness !!!
No visitors overnight, I didn't listen for them (the you-know-whoooos).
This morning the dead trees were mostly misted out, but when the mist cleared some (?) ducks sped out into the Loch at a rate of knots
Up to about 05:50.
Good morning all, Laddie to the nest around 8:35 - chipping/mantling. No threat seen and he soon relaxed for his 5 minute visit
He appeared to stare at an area intently before leaving

Scylla - I have sent Birdie your email address at 07.50 hrs this morning.

Almost, Cirrus! lol You're welcome
10:23ish What looked like an Osprey flew from the right and did a swoop/dive (there was a sound of a splash - an attempt at fishing?). As it flew upwards, a second bird appeared

Thank you, MARY :-*
21:17 An Osprey flew past the nest over to the dead tree where it landed on the top of it. A few calls could be heard
