It seems that Telyn overdid the delayed incubation of egg #1 this season, and we therefore have chicks only from eggs #2 and #3. But what fine chicks they are - thanks to the new man Idris's provisioning and Telyn's mothering, they are doing very well.
Proud parents:
I hope you're not having a justified giggle at my struggles on this routine first of the month, KORKY, cos I didn't do the new thread early! It's been worse, tho.

Excellent pronunciation guides, ALISON
Nice to see you made it in today, LIMPY
Unknown said:KC7 (Bob1) is Tywi (pronounced Toe-wee) and KC6 (Bob2) is Teifi (pronounced Tay-vee), if I've got it right!
Who needs Posh Pete when we've got Alison to help?!
Ringing Day
What a strange start to the day
(Early snaps very brightened.)
Idris brought in a fish very early indeed
It was 15 minutes before Telyn came to the nest and another 15 minutes before she claimed the fish from Idris, who had been feeding himself and, I think, the chicks, "The condemned chicks ate a hearty breakfish" springs to mind
I bet these pics will come out huge but I'm not stopping to downsize them.
She only needed to feed one of them at first:
Then they swapped over in a very orderly manner!
Idris spent quite a bit of time on the nest, as per recent habit:
A lovely squirly:
Exercising, first one:
Then the other:
Presumably Idris:
Post-ringing meal, both ate. I couldn't get a full pic of KC6's ring, but was a bit late restarting after the shut-down.
A contrast to this morning's squirl, this one has curls only on the end (and this one I did downsize):
A familiar sight towards the end of Ringing Day - this was during the day/night/day/night phase:
I don't know where Idris was unless that him way out there:
