Aila and Louis' first chick hatched on Friday 29 May. Perhaps we can expect number 2 and 3 to hatch on 1 and 4 June.
May brought lots of fish, clods, shag pile, sticks, osprey and owl intruders and fame to Aila and Louis, appearing on the BBC, Channel 4 and Chris Packham's Self Isolating Bird Club Live.

Glad you got in, Ian, it was frustrating for a bit..
Clipped the camera pole feathers: https://youtu.be/cW-day6C3G8 Wingdings
and fish number seven today, whole trout https://youtu.be/pzMi1G5fNng number seven
17.47, is this the biggest fish so far today? Ian
Love your wings photo Ian, those white undersides make a dramatic contrast to the camouflage colours on the nest. Will there be a ninth fish I wonder, plenty of time yet, or if there is, will Louis keep it for himself and eat on his perch? The chicks are so stuffed, C1 was hardly interested and C2&3 positively waddled over!
The 9th fish! 19.25.02
19.25, fish number nine. The whopper from 17.47 is still on the nest so when Louis brings in this headless one, there is no interest. Louis contents himself with eating more of the fish. Ian

Louis was on the nest until 20.24 (just shy of an hour), I think he only left the tail of his fish but as this was number nine in the day I think we can forgive him. Aila did do some feeding but unsurprisingly I don't think the chicks were terribly hungry. There were plenty of family portrait opportunities during his stay, here is one of them. Ian
Having almost run out of fingers to count the fish on, if he brings in any more I will have to take my socks off. Ian
