Aila and Louis' first chick hatched on Friday 29 May. Perhaps we can expect number 2 and 3 to hatch on 1 and 4 June.
May brought lots of fish, clods, shag pile, sticks, osprey and owl intruders and fame to Aila and Louis, appearing on the BBC, Channel 4 and Chris Packham's Self Isolating Bird Club Live.

Morning Patily
Aila delivers a new shag pile
She can't quite make up her mind where it has to go
A chaffinch pays a visit
Aila preens for a while
Just as well Aila is not down wind of this man size laser being fired

Scylla, as confirmed by Mary 03.16 is an early delivery record. Checking WT chat suggests three (or maybe four) fish already this morning. I can see 03.16 (as noted by Scylla) also 03.43 which looks a whole fish. There is what looks like a whole fish at 04.02, making three plus 04.33 as noted by Mary. There is therefore every chance that there have been four fish this morning. Ian PS - I have duties to attend to today, so my input will be sporadic. Louis can't possibly keep this rate up surely!
Lovely morning

Louis is a lean, mean fishing machine
Delivery of Fish 5 for today
Mary, I can't see if it was whole or headless nor did I see Louis' crop. He did a fast fly past just before landing, obviously lining himself up for the correct approach to the appropriate runway. Ian
EDIT - looking at slo-mo I think the fish may have been headless
10.30 Loch Arkaig chat is still down, been offline for quite a while now. Gone from saying offline for maintenance, to taking you in to a general info page.
