Aila and Louis' first chick hatched on Friday 29 May. Perhaps we can expect number 2 and 3 to hatch on 1 and 4 June.
May brought lots of fish, clods, shag pile, sticks, osprey and owl intruders and fame to Aila and Louis, appearing on the BBC, Channel 4 and Chris Packham's Self Isolating Bird Club Live.

Thank You GMF - just as well there was nothing else significant happening this morning, or I wouldn't have had time to capture the laser took me ages and a lot of finger pressing to capture it ha ha.... I am easily amused you can see!

That's a relief - it's a worry for him to be "late" when one takes every opportunity to worry ;) Thanks for the report and snap, IAN.
MARY - Yes, I'm still here - I've been writing to you ad infinitum, I hope you survive it

No Scylla I have not checked email although I have it opened and see the amount of unread's mounting up. I will go check it now.
Another orderly queue. Getting to be a bit of a habit...

02:43 Aila got up in a wobbly manner, stepping on a chick, and was suspicious:
It didn't come to anything but she stayed suspicious - see her wild eyes ;)
Morning Scylla,
i noted that, she was listening to something and you can hear calls nearby, but the dawn chorus was already in full voice so I couldn't pick out any crow or owl calls. She stayed wary for a while, day cam switched over 30 minutes after that

Did a video of the 07.51 feed, I thought it was comical how No.2 Bob was stuck in the middle but kept bobbing up like a jack in the box every time there was a morsel in view.
