Aila and Louis' first chick hatched on Friday 29 May. Perhaps we can expect number 2 and 3 to hatch on 1 and 4 June.
May brought lots of fish, clods, shag pile, sticks, osprey and owl intruders and fame to Aila and Louis, appearing on the BBC, Channel 4 and Chris Packham's Self Isolating Bird Club Live.

It looks like a nice morning on the nest. Nothing to report since Mary's last post apart from Aila leaving the nest and coming back with some nest material.and Louis bringing in a big stick Ian

Morning Scylla,
couldn't see anything, maybe she wanted to get away from the smelly fish tails - three of them!

Oh dear... "I'll get a snap of that", I thought smugly - but this was the best I could do! Not a whopper, either ;)
14.41.53, Louis brings in a much bigger whole fish. It looks different to the usual trout, WT chat has identified it as a pike. Louis' crop is rather empty, he'd better get a good share of this fish. I noticed earlier but didn't think it worthy of a post, the bobs are now starting to leave the cup, good timing that L&A brought in quite a few sticks this morning. Ian
Feed happening right now - all three lined up
Aila stops and the chicks are "Aww Mam yer no finished are ye"
