Aila and Louis' first chick hatched on Friday 29 May. Perhaps we can expect number 2 and 3 to hatch on 1 and 4 June.
May brought lots of fish, clods, shag pile, sticks, osprey and owl intruders and fame to Aila and Louis, appearing on the BBC, Channel 4 and Chris Packham's Self Isolating Bird Club Live.

Thank you for taking the trouble to check that minutely, Geemeff! :)
Off topic - I'm even draineder than usual - you said "imagine being on the receiving end of an osprey" kinda thing - well I've been covering some poor baby House Finches being attacked by an Acorn Woodpecker, stab-stab-stab, 3 out of 5 perished :'( ... ... ... so far.
G'night folks!

13.23, Louis brings in a very large whole fish. We now have three fish on the nest. Aila takes the whole fish from Louis who is again blocking the view! That doesn't matter as Aila has a quick flyaround and decides to incubate after eating the head herself. Louis takes the new fish away, that still leaves two fish on the nest. Ian
EDIT - looking back, the bobs also got some of the fish.
14.32, Louis is back with the most recent fish. Again I think he would like to feed (probably my fertile imagination) but Aila is sitting calling (why?). Aila eventually gets up, Louis holding fish in his beak to the bobs but Aila takes the fish from him. Aila has a few nibbles and flies off leaving Louis with three fish and three bobs! Aila is back soon and is trying to incubate but Louis is in the way. She almost shoves him off the nest (the strong wind isn't helping) so decides to feed instead. Louis sensibly departs leaving Aila with the three fish & three bobs. Ian
16.04, another very big whole fish from Louis (fourth fish now on the nest). As Aila again chunters away, Louis is eating the head on the nest. Aila takes the fish has a few bites and starts feeding. Louis then eats from one of the older fish (don't ask which one it is). Louis is still eating as the feed ends. Louis eventually flies with one of the older fish, still leaving three on the nest. I think he could take Saturday off! Ian
Louis brings in yet another fish, so with 4 fish on the nest Aila decides to feed to bobs.
#3 is right at the front and getting fed.
Louis then grabs one of the older fish and starts eating. He certainly deserves it atm.

It's hard to be an impartial watcher, it's so raw out there. But if it were Woodpecker cam, you'd probably be cheering..
It is a fish bonanza - Aila just finished feed of 5 mins ago.... 4 fish on the nest, three cheers for Louis!
Aila's tail feathers must smell a bit fishy!
