Aila and Louis' first chick hatched on Friday 29 May. Perhaps we can expect number 2 and 3 to hatch on 1 and 4 June.
May brought lots of fish, clods, shag pile, sticks, osprey and owl intruders and fame to Aila and Louis, appearing on the BBC, Channel 4 and Chris Packham's Self Isolating Bird Club Live.

Yes I knew about the Foulshaw chick Mary, but somewhere I read that one died at LA and I remember thinking how strange that 2 chicks died the same day.
I'm relieved all is well here
Site not working for me either, the secret to posting, click rich formatting then go and make a cup of tea, come back and it's ready to go, drink your tea and wait for your post to appear, then give up as you can't drink tea all day
Gosh, I understand all the comments re loading time - thought Commento and disqus were bad but nothing like this!
Anyway, here's a lovely moment when a little song bird lands on the nest (13.15) and both it and Aila are surprised. In slo-mo as it's a blink and you miss it moment. Thought to be a warbler, ID suggestions welcome..

I see the website has speeded up again for some inexplicable reason. Wonder how long it will last at this speed.
I think I might as well abandon my posts which still have the dots pulsating to post seeing as they are now over 9 hours old.....
Sadly the weather has deteriorated at Loch Arkaig, Aila has head down while the cam is full of rain drops, sounds windy as well.
Well done to all who persevered and managed to keep the thread going today. Top marks to Scylla for even posting caps on all the different threads.
Lets hope we have seen the last of these frustrations. I am not holding my breath!
Aila has now did a shoogle and lifted her head....
I have been offline for a while. A quick scroll back (& if I'm honest a peak at the WT chat) suggests that the large 12.17 fish has been back and forth a few times but that there have been no fresh fish deliveries since 12.17. I hope that is correct. Currently a feed is underway. Ian
EDIT - where I have "peak" this should be "peek"!
