Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)
IMAGICAT
Maybe it will be some time before she does that Tiger, if 5F is anything to go by.

I've just come across it in my scroll-thru and come here straight away to see if, as expected, you'd captured it ;)
It wasn't the Tawny that alerted me, it was the cambump prior, I'll do a vid.
MC. I'm going to make a diary entry that today was the day I posted before YOU. LOL
If you need another camera to watch there is now a Curlew Camera again this year. Just gone live.
Birdies LG DU update.

You will have your little jest...
I get notifications of all Carnyx streams and was somewhat dismayed at the same time as delighted :-/
The owl knocked CJ7 off the campost! They're so cute but so fierce!
It flew by afterwards, not included in vid:
According to me (with a laptop seizing up!) CJ was late arriving but she brought a clump and seemed undaunted:
She's been preening towards the back of the nest.
