Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)

I dread to think how much I miss on this cam, as I only found this by chance while checking for voices after I thought I'd finished looking for visits!
There was an Osprey-like landing on the campost @ 10:13, I didn't detect a departure up to 11:00 when the session ended.
That was CJ7 for sure, and she shuffled a bit and flew off @ 12:07.
Translocated female Blue 014(18) at Dyfi today, as reported by Alison on the DOP - August 2020 thread

Lovely vid, Scylla - 9 Aug late afternoon. Clearly she has made the nest and area her own. We can but hope she returns next year and a passing male takes a fancy to her

Sorry to get you here for nothing, but you might think I've given up on dear CJ7 - nothing to report overnight and up to 13:00.
Nothing much in the way of bumps to investigate. It rained for a short while, but no wind so it was straight down, not dashing sideways ;)
We had a young Robin (confirmation please?!) this morning, but it got cut off before leaving due to a Windows Update - I did look before shutting down the stream but couldn't have looked very well! My eyes were tuned in for something rather larger ;)
That's up to about 07:30.

I should have said that what I was wondering about was whether it was young or a worse-for-wear adult. I do hate seeing the birds looking diseased, maybe in the far future they'll have rescue-and-repair systems ;)
