Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)

The two eggs are alone on the nest.
CJ7 landed 10.27 and stayed standing on the rim, preening, looking, chilling
Until 11.23 when she flew off. I didn't hear her land on the campost, but I might have missed it, so she may or may not be with us!
It's a bit breezy at times and it feels as tho the nest is floating above the gorse!

I know that!! I'd been watching the Clywedog nest. Sorry.
CJ7 has returned and twice nest cupped. When she flew in she deliberately stood on them.
And another nest cup.
13.09 she returned, with her lovely chirrup, standing on the eggs
First nestcupping, trying to kick the eggs out
Repeated a couple of times, and is now standing over the eggs

Another go at kicking the eggs out, and then on to the rim

CJ was on 'n off the nest thru the afternoon/evening:
Up to campost, chipping, that was the last we saw of her:
