Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)

5-6 more appearances up to 03:12, including this one:
G'night all!
Crows visited early this morning for 30 seconds, cawing, but only one on the nest:
One was back 16:48, on the perch for just over a minute, no vocals could be heard over the wind:
It's not been conducive to Nightjar courting so far tonight ;)
There definitely won't be any Nightjars this morning, but scrolling thru I saw a rain-blob mimicking one almost perched on the perch - but couldn't find it again when I tried to narrow it down
It's fab scrolling thru the rain, tho, and looking at the live stream just now it looked as tho I was FF-ing, it's so windy.

After another very windy night - and rainy but not as bad as the night before - our Nightjar turned up as cam changed from night to day - but not far enough into day to see it in colour.
Crows visited either side of the raptors:
I can get a shot of the Buzzard's right wing pattern but nothing 'nice' of the Osprey:
I would never have noticed them if you hadn't posted with the time, RICHARD - thanks! :)
The Nightjar has been to the perch 4 times up to 02:35 - staying for over a minute each time.
Nightjar was back @ 04:13, only for 30 seconds or so. I've lightened this a bit.
Thank You Scylla for your efforts in keeping the thread going.
The white deer is in the distance.
I find it sad that we don't see CJ7 on the nest now, she gave us some spectacular wing shots this season
Alison/anyone do you know if she has been seen recently on any of the other platforms or around the area?
