Beautiful female, Rutland's CJ7:
The hoped-for partner for CJ7, local male LS7, has not yet appeared. CJ has been tending the nest daily and yesterday she took everyone by surprise, producing an egg - which took us by surprise by surviving... until midnight at least ;)

The nearest we've got so far to seeing Nightjar on daycam - this was 05:43 and a lot of work was done on the original:
First Osprey visitor I found was early this morning - unringed, I thought it looked rather female in shape, but must be the same male?
08:39 for well under 2 minutes:
The lunchtime visitor on his way up to the campost, as reported:
Can't do a video of the squall because my sound is so bad, only very short bursts :(
Nightjar was here from 21:50 to 22:30.
From a 10-minute spell yesterday evening - this cam certainly does dramatise the weather

The nearest I've lived is Winchester - for a couple of naughty years ;)

Thank you, RICHARD. Somewhere I need to raise the question "bill or beak", it's been bothering me for a long while ;)

A fly-off seen, but I could not find the arrival. And was it an osprey for certain? Then a landing and takeoff heard, but too soft for an osprey, possibly:
Overnight so far, no rain and no nightjar.
Two landings/take-offs this morning, bumps 'n sound only:
