09.05, headless fish from Louis. Just before delivery he flew across the front of the nest. Aila takes it in her talons. Ian
Fish delivery as reported by Ian
Louis flew past the nest so quickly even in slo mo it was hard to get a clear capture of him
A blur!!!
It was a good size
Louis incubated the eggs until 10.30 am - it was raining at the time, so maybe he thought he had enough, got up and flew off
Aila flew in around 30 seconds later to incubate
She settled down to incubate
Where she is still getting rained upon poor Aila!

It's a bit wet

Poor Aila has twigs blown on her back, and the rain and wind are battering the nest.
Hate seeing her like this, I suppose it could have been weather like this throughout April as is the norm, but we have had that run of grand weather, so got to think positively.
Just as well she got that fish earlier on in the day which should see her through until tomorrow.
Your post wasn't there when I started my post Ian. Great minds!
I thought I'd done an end of nighttime-startofday post but it ain't here. Given that both birds are well accounted for this morning (thank you IAN and MARY) I'm not going to angst over it - she lied, but one can't help wondering where it went, technically or mentally
