Sorry to hear about your roof felt Ian, I hope you have some spare so you can repair it.

Unfortunately Mary, the expression "like a coo wi' a gun" could have been made for me! So, we'll be looking for a local handyman to attend to it. Ian
PS - For those not lucky enough to be Scottish, the expression means "not a competent person to carry out a particular task safely"
Louis delivered a fish at 13.17
It was a big one
That should Aila keep going for a while

WT chat are saying the fish was a pike. I am not any better at identifying fish than I am at birds so am happy to go with pike. Aila brought some of it back at 14.04 and ate on the nest until 14.08 when she left the fish lying. She dropped a stick on Louis to get him to move at 14.09 and he flew off with the fish. Ian
I would agree with that Ian, it was the correct colour and width with it being a pike. They will both be well fed from that one.
Aila brought the fish back at 14.04 hrs, where she ate it on the nest for 5 minutes, and Louis did not budge from the eggs.
She gets Louis to move by dropping a stick on him
Louis takes what is left and flies off with it

"Like a cow handling a musket" used to be applied to me down in Cornwall - but I expect it's the standard English version rather than local Cornish, once one takes away the accent
Thank you for the coverage - great to see such a good fish, well done Louis! :-*
