Poor Aila, she has had all weathers thrown at her today. Sunshine, cloud, rain, sleet, snow and now the sun is chasing the clouds.
17.15 a snooze
The sun is coming
It's now dark over Will's Mum's!

Cathy said:I think there was an intruder
Cathy, according to WT chat, from what I can see, it seems to have been a hoodie. Ian
04.37, Louis was awake early this morning, he brings in a headless fish. Aila almost knocks him over when leaving the nest with the fish in her talons. Aila returns at 05.55. Ian
IMAGICAT
Some catchup snaps from yesterday:
The afternoon headless (half) fish:
The large wet clod:
19:57 intruder? Louis gave twisting and turning chase - hoodie suspected:
20:14 Persistent:
23:55 she pulled out a feather:
A minute later a period of disturbance started but no-one seen:
The 0437 fish had a lot of skin hanging from it - I can't get a good snap:
While Aila was up intruder-watching, Louis brought in a stick:
An osprey flew over:
And again, unseen but it got more reaction from the nest - Louis gave chase and Aila settled back on her eggs:
All OK, later Louis brought in the awkward stick, to which justice cannot be done, and he took over:
He sat perusing his error of judgement:
That's just a selection up to 09:02.
11.22, headless fish delivery, Aila takes it off the nest in her beak. Ian
EDIT - I forgot to mention 09.14, Aila comes back to the nest and doesn't like the stick Louis brought in any more than Scylla does. In the efforts to move it, Louis ends up standing on the nest with the stick on his back. He flicks it off & it almost lands on the eggs.
