*It is with much regret to report that Lassie (LF15) failed to return*
‘An Empty Nest’ blog >>> scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/2020/04/an-empty-nest/
For reasons known only to them, Laddie (LM12) and this season's new female, NC0, have made the decision not to use the webcam nest. We can only hope that they are safe and successfully incubating eggs somewhere in the immediate area of the Loch and that, as this month progresses, they will grace us occasionally with their presence on camera. In the meantime, we will continue to enjoy, and report on, the sights and sounds of this beautiful location.

And look who was here again this afternoon
He was on the nest less than 30 seconds, but it was a perceived intruder that brought him again:
Breast marking are very distinct - hope it is our Laddie!
Lucky I got this today - the stream has been dropping out every hour or so, and it dropped out a minute or two after he flew.

Looks who is on the nest this morning with his monster fish. Makes me wonder if he has chicks and is bringing the fish to this nest to take the head off it before delivering it to the other nest? Just a thought
System painfully slow this morning again....

Just my thought, too, MARY
I got in a pickle of indecision over this video - ended up with 15 minutes unedited beginning and then a break to the end. Well, it's on the record in my YouTube at least :-/
Good morning all, what wonderful posts to wake up to - thank you!
That fish was huge and hopefully Laddie took it to NC0 and chicks
It's a very good thought Mary!
On another slow morning.....
08:30 Laddie was back again, defending for just over a minute. Intruder still not seen.
That's all I found up to 01:30.
