*It is with much regret to report that Lassie (LF15) failed to return*
‘An Empty Nest’ blog >>> scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/2020/04/an-empty-nest/
For reasons known only to them, Laddie (LM12) and this season's new female, NC0, have made the decision not to use the webcam nest. We can only hope that they are safe and successfully incubating eggs somewhere in the immediate area of the Loch and that, as this month progresses, they will grace us occasionally with their presence on camera. In the meantime, we will continue to enjoy, and report on, the sights and sounds of this beautiful location.

Oh I get plenty white screens when I have to use the YT rollback, MARY - but this is one of the nest streams that I download 24/7. Even then, it does jiggle rather when I'm scrolling thru so I can easily miss things.
Look who I just bumped into !!! Last night around 23:00hr:
I think it must be Laddie, he landed chipping and there was someone above him, unseen unfortunately. I'm just doing a videl.

That was such a coincidence - I was going to post just saying about downloading streams but thought "oh I'll check the lastest downloads first" and there he was !!!
Done up to 08:00+ this morning.

Thank You very much Scylla for the posts and video of Laddie, it shows your dedication in even downloading the stream of an unoccupied nest just so we can all get a glimpse of dear Laddie.
I miss this nest very much too Starling, when I looked at the Rutland nest this morning, my thoughts went immediately to LOTL thinking the chicks were always both about the same age and size each season.

Good morning all
Thanks Scylla, how lovely to see Laddie though surprising at that late hour. He looked really well and fully cropped too! 9:50 A couple of crows made there presence known before landing on the nest
One flew to the top of the tree behind the nest
