First day of a new month tomorrow - will the forums be incredibly slow?

Believe it or not I have waited over an hour on the RF box opening to post on this thread.   

I am using 3 different browsers on three different threads, but each one is as slow as the other. 

Talk about frustrating!    Although saying that don't want to complain too much as the powers that be may just withdraw the facility of a "Community" altogether.    

I have seen that happen in the past, when a very large leisure company closed down its Forum Pages. 

It would be a very sad loss indeed if RSPB decided to do that, as there is so much historical information over the last 11 years on these threads.

Also I am sure is a comfort to some of us to see posts from people who have sadly passed away, which to me keeps their memory alive.    

So my plea to RSPB is please try and fix as best you can.
