The story so far this morning.

The webcam was later in coming on this morning, just after it came on :- 

Dylan flew in to the nest

He took over incubation and 5F flew off

Approx. 20 mins later 5F flew back to nest with a BIG divet

She then proceeded to move bark around the nest

She took over incubating

Still incubating now

Morning Patily,
I've scrolled back to when Dylan was incubating and her flight to the nest to take over (as in Mary's captures above) looked great :)

Incident detailed on the Llyn Clywedog fb page. 2 walkers from London walked past the no entry signs early this morning and spooked the nest on their return. Picked up on the nest camera and detained first by John Williams and then the police and charged. Eggs left unattended briefly but hopefully no long term impact.

Oh that is awful, what on earth is wrong with people and from London too, they obviously couldn't read the signs! Well done to John W. and the police for detaining and charging the pair! Thank goodness for the camera. Thanks for letting us know about the incident, AG.

Thanks, AG, What a story! I hadn't heard about that. Can't believe the inconsiderateness of some people! Don't they know there is a war on?! I hope the fines are increased as time goes on. I searched for the Facebook page but as I'm not on Facebook, couldn't access the private group (which is listed on Google as 'public'!) Any chance you could ask if you could copy and paste the relevant fb entry for us, please? If not, never mind--you've given us the facts.

I read about it on the Group yesterday, but as its a private group it really wouldn't be appropriate to copy and paste it here, however there is nothing more to add to what AG has already posted, he has covered all the details.    

A photo was posted on the Group showing the two walkers walking on the road @ 15.19 hours.   John Williams who is in charge of this site, along with Gareth detained the two lads, and the police were called.
