As far as I remember Dyfi named the osprey Seren, however when she moved on to the new nest they renamed her - I think :)

Name clarification.
In 2013 Nora, Monty's partner did not return.
An un-ringed female started bonding with Monty and she was named Seren. She was later displaced by Blue 12 (Glesni)
At a later date an un-ringed pair of Ospreys were seen nesting at Llyn Clywedog. (13 miles from Dyfi)
These were named Dylan and Delyth by local observers.
As more photographs appeared of the Clywedog birds over the years they were studied and compared. (No nest cam)
Consensus was reached that Delyth was the female previously named as Seren by DOP.

So when Seren/Delyth partnered Monty for a while she was already the mate at ON5....is that right?

This probably sounds silly but I can't call 5F Seren Somehow it seems disrespectful to the previous Seren!!!!

No, the un-ringed female that DOP named Seren was displaced by Glesni.
Sometime later the Clywedog pair were seen and later still named.
