Scottish female NC0 arrived on the nest 28th March. Her info here >

It is with much regret to report that Lassie (LF15) did not return
So I gather that NC0 has not been back this morning then.
Thing is after the incident they did both come back yesterday morning, if you look back the pages Korky you will see that it was business as usual after the incident, (whatever that was), there was a fish delivery mating and the usual to and fros etc. yesterday.
I am beginning to think they may have gone to another nest that I think was initially a frustration nest built several years ago, and at one time Laddie had a dalliance with another bird on it during one season.
Will be interesting to see what happens now, this has certainly been one of the most unusual seasons I can remember in many years. Lots of non-returnees this season too.
Of course a lot of these will be because they have not been reported as being back yet, and some in positions where not possible to check nest.

Looks like it is going to be a watch and see what happens next here. It is very sad, as bad enough that Lassie has not returned, if it turns out that NC0 does not come back to the nest, it will be a failed season, however if they are nesting somewhere on the Loch then no doubt SWT will let us know and then all is not lost for them this year.
EDIT: He has gone again :-(
Yes Sandra that was why I thought I better say that, also I think there could be another couple back that just hasn't been reported in the public domain yet.

No sightings of NC0 at the nest, unfortunately
Thank you for that information, Mary, I didn't know about a possible frustration nest elsewhere. Hopefully, the monitoring team will be able to report anything that they see, if that is the case
Just been chatting to one of the Lowes volunteers, and she tells me they are both close by.
She also mentioned that as this is a new pairing they don't know how things will progress, so we will just have to wait and watch to see what happens as the days/weeks go by.
I fancied a wee bit of colour in my post as this little bit of news has fair brightened up my day.
PS: Its lunchtime, and the sun is out, so a quick couple of laps round the garden and a spot of lunch will be just the job.
Oh that is great news, Mary, thank you very much!
Don't overdo it with your exercise! lol
Well I am back already, to post the good news on Aberfoyle Sandra I can confirm that I did no more than 2 burls round the garden then lunch
