Last season Louis and Aila arrived on their nest almost at the same instant on the 4th of April. Here's to a repeat, but a few days earlier to save our anxiety.

Aila's had some disturbances tonight, here's one sample plus a couple of snaps tagged on - it's all been rather s-l-o-w:

I see a fish just before 6am but no sign of a second egg.
That was quick! Louis delivers a fish at 0553 Aila flies off with it, returns at 0613 no sign of fish!
Birdies LG DU update.
I didn't scroll back, I was meaning too but got absorbed in another thread
Fish delivery Mike reported.
I am sure Aila got wired in and polished off that nice big fish Louis brought her
Oh dear, Scylla, from your video it looks likely that Aila was defending ........ maybe against a pine martin. Good girl. I well remember EJ doing tine same thing when Bynack was still in the nest and his siblings had fledged. EJ was roosting close by and came silently to the nest (lots of bags going on !! sounding like someone was banging a saucepan with a wooden spoon !) and spread her wings and waited ready to give the intruder a nasty peck.
Thanks for the report Mike
Louis is incubating and Aila has been waiting on the side of the nest for a while, they seemed to be watching something flying overhead.
She has waited so long she is falling asleep now. Beautiful light on the background trees.
