Last season Louis and Aila arrived on their nest almost at the same instant on the 4th of April. Here's to a repeat, but a few days earlier to save our anxiety.

Ha! Thanks for your dutiful reporting once again Ian.
17.34, Louis alarm calling on the nest. Ian
EDIT - it didn't seem to come to anything.
18.21, Aila comes back to the nest with half a fish (presumably the one she got at 17.24) and lets Louis take it from her. 18.24, Louis flies off with the fish. Ian
EDIT - Aila is not fish calling since Louis left with the fish.
19.22, the camera is buffering quite a bit but from what I can see Aila eventually gets the remains of the fish. Louis had been back once before to the nest & I couldn't see any fish in his talons. I think that is because by that time it was so small, almost just a tail-end. 19.52, successful mating. Ian

Coincidentally (?) I've got the final mating of the day @ 20:52, which seems rather late - I wonder if all the buffering caused the time to go awry? Louis flew off straight from Aila's back and she flew 2 minutes later.
I'm not going to try to figure out anything because I have only fragments for most of the day.
Thank you for your reports, IAN !!! :)
Scylla, on scroll back there was a mating at 20.52 on Friday, so I suspect we were both correct with one at 19.52 & one at 20.52. Ian PS - mating number six on Saturday morning at 08.01.
08.05, Louis brings in an awkward stick that Aila also has to battle with. Now all we need is a fish or two and Louis can take the rest of the day off!! 08.11, Aila's turn to contribute some moss. Ian
