Last season Louis and Aila arrived on their nest almost at the same instant on the 4th of April. Here's to a repeat, but a few days earlier to save our anxiety.

14.37, Louis brings in a reasonable stick. For the second time (that I have seen) he has a peck at what looks like an integral part of the nest structure that is poking through the bare nest. It is obviously bothering him but I suspect no amount of effort will move it. Ian
EDIT - 14.42, another stick. All these posts are probably getting a bit tedious, I'll stop (for a while).

I'll be going offline for a while. Despite my protestations that the early1970's look of hair cascading over my collar is the "in thing", I have been ordered by she who must be obeyed to attend a haircut (& I use that term very loosely). My fear has been compounded by being asked in advance what bowl size I am. My wife has promised to make the experience as realistic as possible by asking me inane questions like "what will you be doing at the weekend". Wish me luck, if after the "appointment" I still have two ears I suppose it will be judged a success. This Covid 19 has a lot to answer for. Ian
