Last season Louis and Aila arrived on their nest almost at the same instant on the 4th of April. Here's to a repeat, but a few days earlier to save our anxiety.

Aila has laid her first egg this morning, about seven minutes ago. Well done Aila...

I counted at least 10 "sneezes" in 5 minutes but got distracted dunking fruit loaf in my reheated coffee, a desperate measure to stave off hyponess...
She sneezes again around 18:20, flew off, returned 19:00 and pottered in nestcup, flew again, back @ 21:09 for 5 minutes, that was that for the night. She seemed OK :)
Thank you for gorgeous snaps - I've been so engrossed in Aila's sneezes I haven't even looked at today! Well done, Aila (and Louis)
I just went to check if it was safe to stop/restart, aww:
Peace is shattered, as alarm calling
Louis is thinking "got to get more fish" - Aila is thinking "thank goodness that is over" oh I forgot I have to do it all again
