Last season Louis and Aila arrived on their nest almost at the same instant on the 4th of April. Here's to a repeat, but a few days earlier to save our anxiety.

IMAGICAT
13.57, failed mating attempt.
14.21, Aila to the perch.
14.35, from perch to camera
14.47, back to the nest then some half-hearted fish calls.
Ian
Just a snap I passed on my quest for the reported fish:
Fine fish!
15.26, Louis flies off. Aila comes back at 15.50. Ian
16.53, Aila onto the perch. Earlier (at 15.55) she was trying to move the stick that is upright thanks to being wedged in and supported by a very spindly offshoot. She couldn't move it though (obviously as it is still in situ). Ian
Aila calling for breakfast
Louis didn't deliver Patily, so she is still putting in her order for breakfast, taking longer than normal, Louis needs to "Deliveroo" a bit quicker.

Oh my Aila is certainly on form this morning, never heard an osprey sing like a linty before
Louis delivers at 07.17
Aila gets right in there for the fish, no hesitation at all.
Screenshots all a bit blurry, but wanted to take them as it was happening.
Aila must have wolfed down her fish as she arrived back at 07.36 am
In the meantime Louis was trying out the nest cup for size.
Awww they are a bonnie pair
