Last season Louis and Aila arrived on their nest almost at the same instant on the 4th of April. Here's to a repeat, but a few days earlier to save our anxiety.

Aila has obviously finished her fish now. Love this scene, Aila on the perch and Louis obviously tired after his fishing expedition

Thank you for the opening of the day, MARY, glad to see that Aila got some fish :)
All I have is video of the Hooded Crow yesterday, which I seem to remember you snapping - it was a nice glossy character :)
I'm off now, but JUST remembered Clywedog, the first time for days - I'll set it going right this minute !!!
Mating on the Compost - naughty Louis, poor Aila having to keep her balance. Can't resist
Louis mantling for some reason No fish involved
Louis brought in a long stick with twiggy bits sticking out. It looked more like the old fashioned TV aerial. It took a while to get it sorted, nibbling and breaking bits off.

Aila and Louis lookking magnificent as they face the wind
Teatime - half a fish for Aila:
Louis was industrious up to 20:17, when he finally flew off:
10 minutes after he left Aila flew in, she just stood on the spot looking all around, then flew off @ 20:35:
Louis landed @ 05:15 and had a look around for a few minutes and flew off again:
Since then both have been on 'n off the nest:
Last post from me for the duration, see y'all later :)
