Last season Louis and Aila arrived on their nest almost at the same instant on the 4th of April. Here's to a repeat, but a few days earlier to save our anxiety.

He's back on the nest & nestcupping. Ian
A first attempt at nestcupping but his breast is no match for the impacted surface:

Louis has been back (approx 18.35) & away again within a couple of minutes. Nice shot of him flying towards the nest, he brought a tiny stick (only his second so far after a much bigger one earlier). He did some more nestcupping. Ian

Oops! Oops! I've no idea, at nearly half 5 in the morning, whether that was wrong name or wrong thread. So a typo was the least of my worries!
It'sjust come to my noticed that I had nothing whatsoever for this nest between 6 and 8 yesterday morning. So wasn't it lucky that the stream recovered in time for Louis?!
In the evening he did some nestorising - tried to dig out some nestcup but it's hard!
