Wishing Monty and Telyn a safe journey home and for another successful season
Roll on tomorrow Telyn - it's going to be dry with a smattering of sunshine according to the BBC in Machynlleth
They've just had a change over - Idris incubating and Telyn returning just now but no idea if she has been eating a fish
Idris bounced a big clumb of soil onto Telyn's back - it turned out to be a houseplant gift ;) I tried to add a flowerpot to it, couldn't do it.
Telyn surprised him again - see how empty his crop is:
Some time after 09:00 Idris brought a flounder, which Telyn took away and eventually brought back the leftover of for him:
Idris - pretty and pretty wet ;-*
Telyn was not amused:
Another fish from Idris to Telyn:
Telyn brought this back:
Supper for Telyn - the end of a new fish or the same leftover brought back?
Live now - I can't be certain who this is but I think it's Telyn:
IMAGICAT
Last night Telyn didn't forsake the egg until about 11:50 - bearing in mind that all the YT streams are still cutting out and I can't be sure that they don't go into limbo and state the wrong ending times :(
Back @ about 05:15:
Idris popped in 10 minutes later, he had a piece of fish !!!
Having been ignored, he went away but came back with it again:
He made as if to incubate but decided it was more important to take the fish away, which he did, and Telyn resumed on the egg - but not for long, she soon took a 15-minute break. Maybe she got hold of the piece of fish and dispatched it.
That's up to 06:28.
Idris is incubating, Telyn standing on nest, but he is not for moving.
Cuckoo has been calling - only place I ever seen a Cuckoo was at DYFI...
