Hi folks,

Strange times we're living in. I do hope that you are all keeping as well as can expected given the circumstances and have good support networks around you.

Whilst the RSPB Community is always meant to be a place where forum members are free from personal abuse and comments intended to hurt, in these anxious times, I'm sure you can all appreciate that it is even more important than usual to ensure that we are all looking after each-other and being careful with what we post. Please remember that this forum is to share the wonder, excitement and passion you all share for ospreys and no one should feel that they are not welcome to contribute, as long as they adhere to the rules about not being abusive.

So, please remember every time you contribute, that you have the choice to either be kind, or be abusive, and make the right choice.

On a separate matter, as you know, we were unable to continue with the redevelopment works at Loch Garten as the RSPB have been, and are being, guided by the Government advice about only carrying out essential work. This is not only to help ensure the safety of our workforce, our contractors and our communities, but also to avoid the potential for any unnecessary call-outs to the Emergency Services, when their resources and their own safety is of utmost importance to us all. Please be assured that we are as committed as other viewing projects to bringing you live pictures, but the current Covid-19 measures have meant that this will be delayed until restrictions are relaxed and the RSPB decides that the webcam is now within the scope of work which can be carried out safely. This will be outwith Loch Garten's control and we will be following guidance from the Lodge. Thank you for your understanding.
