Great news about Black 80, thanks, Mary. Fourteen years old--amazing. He is a Glaslyn chick, if I remember rightly--correct me if that is wrong, please! Like mother, like son?--lol! Hope his partner returns, too.

"That could be the resident male. He is banded and it looked like that bird had a band on."
I had thought he had a white band but couldn't be sure.

Barnegat woke to a drenching day, this doesn't give a bad enough impression - the corvid was on 'n off the perch half a dozen times:
A nice touch - this truck suddenly stopped and a man got out and picked up a stray plastic bag, it stopped again further along the road. I must say it looks a well-cared-for area.
