Tweed Valley
Two there now - one with fish on the perch
©FaLS/Tweed Valley Ospreys
Both were wary. Blue ringed male in the nest bowl, female on the right-side perch with fish. One egg clearly visible
18.4.20 DRAMA!
All looked really calm when I checked late this afternoon, really to see if there were any more eggs. Male eating his fish, female incubating
Male flew off with the fish
He came back for the fish exchange
He stood in the nest bowl but didn't settle, she took the fish to the right side perch to eat - both watching the sky
Male took off
Female, with her fish, came to the nest
More than one egg here?
She must have felt it safe to go back to the perch
Male came back to the left side perch but both were on high alert
Then looked what happened - another Osprey intruded and possibly landed on the nest!!
Same pic as above but showing the cam had ended for the day - unfortunately!
What a worrying time, I hope everything is ok - I will check as soon as the streaming starts again tomorrow morning

I can't find the usual Osprey Chat thread so am posting this rescue video here. I will delete and relocate it if so advised.

Brilliant wasn't it Scylla? Thanks for posting. Such super kind people involved in the rescue!
