As this could to be a monumental year, with the possibility of the first breeding Ospreys in Poole for a very long time, and the chance of more relocated birds returning I thought we might as well start off a new thread.

Some bad news from the nest site an hour ago (1854). It's lucky no nesting was taking place.
Two youths were seen walking about and approaching the nest tree.
This is all private land and the whole area is secured behind large steel fences.
BofPH say the land owner has been informed and the area is being checked.

Dear CJ keeps hoping, tending the nest, making sure it's attractive to a mate:
After the well-documented Cuckoo buzz, a corvid took a turn:
Not long before the trespassers appeared on our screens, something appeared to scare CJ away from the nest and I didn't find her again - tho there were cambumps:
The trespassers reported and snapped by RICHARD:

CJ7 was buzzed by a Raven (I think) big and black @ 06.25 this morning.
She is back on the nest now and looks fine.

Birdies LG DU update.
Good Morning Mike
Yes poor CJ7 does seem to be buzzed a lot by various birds....
I hope the youths were apprehended and been given the rules and regulations of going near a SCH.1 nesting area.

I was so relieved to see her this morning. I expect some of us have the jitters after what's happened at LOTL :'(
I've skimmed thru the day, will have missed any 'buzzes'.
She was on 'n off the nest thru'out the day, but not nestorising nearly as seriously.
Penultimate trip up to the campost:
If we were in any doubt! ;)
A much more blurry fly-up @ 20:36, her final departure:
