As this could to be a monumental year, with the possibility of the first breeding Ospreys in Poole for a very long time, and the chance of more relocated birds returning I thought we might as well start off a new thread.

I thought this was great to see her fight with the stick, I actually seen it on your twitter feed this morning Alison, before I seen it here.

Osprey just flew over my house!!!!!! Don't think it's CJ7 as she was on the nest and this looks unringed and possibly male. Heavily cropped photo.

Meaning, male company, of course ;)
An early alternative wingshot ;)
A visitor:
Bringing in sticks - with vocals on the first one, volume upped 'n upped x 4 to little avail:
Whilst editing the above I noticed a fleeting flyover in the tiny sliver of sky, top right - a snap wouldn't show anything recognisable and now I can't even find it :( I couldn't tell if it was an osprey or a goose. At the time I thought she looked aware but uninterested.
Glad something piqued her interest :-*
Last seen 20:06:
A spider's web strand wandered from side to side, insects foraged around the sticks but I couldn't see them in the centre :-/

CJ7 landed @ 05:26 and pottered and waited:
A corvid buzzed her in 2-3 passes:
More pottering and waiting... my clip ends half an hour ago, here she is currently:
CJ7 was buzzed by a cuckoo at 05.37! 'Dorothy' has tweeted a screen grab and a video.
Cuckoo nest buzz
Thanks Alison - Excellent capture by Dorothy!
Even in Slow Mo it is still very fast.

This webcam seems to have captured so many followers already, so I really hope that CJ7 finds a mate this year. LS7 needs to get a move on
